AZTROHIGH 1000 INJECTION contains Aztreonam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage serious bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections (including pyelonephritis and cystitis and asymptomatic bacteriuria), lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia and bronchitis), bacteraemia/septicemia, bone and joint infections, skin and skin-structure infections (including those associated with postoperative wounds, ulcers and burns).
AZTROHIGH 1000 INJECTION is also used to manage intra-abdominal infections (including peritonitis), gynaecologic infections (including pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis and pelvic cellulitis) and gonorrhoea (acute uncomplicated urogenital or anorectal infections).
AZTROHIGH 1000 INJECTION should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney disease and fits. AZTROHIGH 1000 INJECTION is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless it is considered clearly necessary. It is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before receiving it.

The most common side effects of receiving AZTROHIGH 1000 INJECTION are cough, nasal congestion, wheezing, throat pain, fever, chest discomfort abdominal pain and vomiting. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.
