AUROMIDE EYE DROPS contains Tropicamide which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticholinergics agents. It is used to enlarge the pupil of your eye (mydriasis) to allow for easier examination of the inside of the eyeball and to relax the muscles in your eye (cycloplegia) when your vision is being tested.
AUROMIDE EYE DROPS is not recommended for use if you have glaucoma or a tendency towards glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye). Before using this medicine AUROMIDE EYE DROPS inform your doctor if are wearing contact lens or have inflamed eyes.
AUROMIDE EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before using this medicine. It is not recommended for use in small infants and caution to be exercised in premature children. It should be used with caution in elderly. The common side effects of AUROMIDE EYE DROPS are temporary stinging sensation, or blurred vision. Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve.
