ATJOINT TABLET is a combination of
Diacerein, Glucosamine, and Methyl Sulfonyl Methane
which belongs to the group of medicines called proteoglycan synthesis stimulators and nutritional supplements, respectively. It is used in the management of osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints of the hands, knees, hips, and spine.

In osteoarthritis, the cartilage between the bones in the joint breaks down, which in turn causes the affected bones to slowly get bigger. The joint cartilage often breaks down because of mechanical stress or biochemical changes within the body, causing the bone underneath to fail.

ATJOINT TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with liver problems. Before taking ATJOINT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have suffered from impaired glucose tolerance, kidney problems, heart disease, or asthma. ATJOINT TABLET is generally not recommended for use among women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

ATJOINT TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (18 years and below). ATJOINT TABLET is to be taken with caution by elderly patients. The most common side effects of taking ATJOINT TABLET are nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, heartburn, and urine discoloration. Ask your doctor for advice if any of these side effects worsen or don’t improve.
