ASERT D TABLET is a combination of Cefixime and Dicloxacillin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections such as ear (otitis media), nose (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), chest and lung infections such as (bronchitis, pneumonia), uncomplicated urinary tract infections such as cystitis and kidney infections and uncomplicated gonorrhoea (cervical/urethral infections).
Before taking ASERT D TABLET inform your doctor if you have lung diseases such as asthma, liver, kidney or heart disease.
ASERT D TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant women. Contact your doctor before taking. ASERT D TABLET is not recommended for use in breast feeding women as it may pass through the breast milk. Contact your doctor before taking.
ASERT D TABLET is not recommended for use in children under 10 years of age. Contact our doctor before taking.
ASERT D TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients aged 65 years or above. Contact your doctor before taking.
The most common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, indigestion or headache, dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
