Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which body does not make enough insulin, and the insulin that your body produces does not work as well as it should. When this happens, sugar (glucose) builds up in blood.
GLP-1 makes your pancreas to produce more insulin after you eat and helps in maintaining blood glucose levels in the normal range.
