APDROPS EYE DROPS contains Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial conjunctivitis and other eye infections. Bacterial conjunctivitis is the infection of the transparent membrane (conjunctiva) that lines the eyelid and covers the white part of your eyeball. Symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis include pain, discomfort, redness, itching, irritation, and watering of the eyes.
Patients should be advised not to wear contact lenses if they have signs and symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis. APDROPS EYE DROPS should be used with caution in pregnant women or if you think you may be pregnant and in breastfeeding woman. Consult your doctor before using the medicine.
APDROPS EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in the newborn and it should be used with caution in children and adolescents. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depends on your child’s age and body weight. APDROPS EYE DROPS should be used with caution in elderly patients of above 65 years of age. The common side effects are eye pain or irritation. Consult your doctor if the above symptoms does not improve.
