ANCOOL SUSPENSION SYRUP is a combination of Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, Oxetacaine, and Simethicone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacids, Saline laxatives, Anesthetic antacids, and Gastrointestinal agents, respectively. It is used for symptomatic relief of gastric hyperacidity associated with gastritis, peptic ulcer, and esophageal reflux with heartburn.
ANCOOL SUSPENSION SYRUP is not recommended for use in patients having renal failure, partial intestinal obstruction, gastric outlet obstruction, constipation, or hypophosphatemia (low level of phosphate). Consult your doctor for advice. Before taking ANCOOL SUSPENSION SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have porphyria, are undergoing hemodialysis, and are on a low-phosphorous diet.
