Amlopres AT 25mg Tablet 15'S

AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET is used to manage hypertension and angina pectoris (chest pain caused due to lack of oxygen supply to the heart). It can also be used to reduce the risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) among heart patients.

It contains a combination of
Amlodipine and Atenolol
which belongs to the group of medicine called Antihypertensive agents.

Take AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET, as it could further decrease your blood pressure and may make you feel dizzier, drowsier or faint.

Before taking AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have asthma, diabetes, overactive thyroid gland or low blood volume as a precaution.

AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with other severe heart problems apart from hypertension and angina (such as heart failure). It is also not suitable for use in patients with severe hypotension (low blood pressure).

Consult your doctor before taking AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The most common side effects of taking AMLOPRES AT 25MG TABLET are swelling of ankles or other body parts, headache, dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, racing heartbeat, indigestion, constipation, muscle cramps, cold hands and feet and slow heartbeat.
