AMLENOX ORAL PASTE contains Amlexanox which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiallergic agents. AMLENOX ORAL PASTE is used in adults to manage minor aphthous ulcers (shallow sore inside the mouth).

AMLENOX ORAL PASTE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Amlexanox. Before applying AMLENOX ORAL PASTE, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems (such as renal impairment), and/or liver problems (hepatic impairment).

AMLENOX ORAL PASTE is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is also not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) and in elderly patients (due to lack of data on safety and efficacy).

The most common side effects of applying AMLENOX ORAL PASTE are pain, stinging and/or burning sensation at the site of application. Consult your doctor before applying the medicine.
