ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET is used in the management of hypertension. It is preferably used when treatment with single BP medicines does not provide adequate control in blood pressure.
It contains a combination of two medicines, namely Amlodipine and Telmisartan which works by relaxing the blood vessels supplying the heart and other organs which reduces the strain on the heart and decreases blood pressure.
Take ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET under medical supervision. It can be taken with or without meals. Do not take alcohol or grapefruit juice while taking ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET, as it could severely decrease your blood pressure.
Before taking ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver disease, kidney disease or any other heart conditions apart from hypertension such as heart failure, etc. You must also inform your doctor if have diabetes, swelling of body parts or any other pre-existing medical conditions.
Do not take ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET without consulting your doctor if you are pregnant and breastfeeding as a precaution. The most common side effects of taking ALDO TL 5MG/40MG TABLET are dizziness, tiredness, sleepiness, sudden drop in blood pressure with fainting, racing heartbeat, and flushing or redness of face and neck. Talk to your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.
