ALCID-MPS Oral Suspension is an antacid and antiflatulent liquid that is used to relieve indigestion (dyspepsia), heartburn and wind (flatulence). It contains dried aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide and simethicone as active ingredients which helps in digestion problems.
ALCID-MPS Oral Suspension provides relief from acidity and its symptoms, where dried aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide act as antacids that work by reducing the acid secretion in your stomach, and simethicone acts as an anti-foaming agent which helps to remove gas from stomach.
Always take ALCID-MPS Oral Suspension as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed 10 teaspoons of the suspension in a day and do not take maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks, unless advised by the doctor.
Before taking ALCID-MPS Oral Suspension, inform your doctor if you are on low phosphorus diet, have porphyria (rare disorder occurring due to a build-up of natural chemicals called porphyrins in the body), or are undergoing haemodialysis. It should be used in pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children only on doctor’s advice.
