ACILOC 150MG TABLET contains
Ranitidine
which belongs to the group of medicines called H2 receptor antagonists. It reduces the amount of gastric acid produced in the stomach, which can be used to relieve the symptoms of acidity, heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, etc. It also helps in the management of peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome (small tumour in the first part of your intestine due to excessive gastrin secretion).
Take Aciloc Tablet as directed by your physician. Strictly follow the dosing schedule as advised by your physician to achieve better results. Inform your doctor about all the medications that you are currently taking, to avoid any drug-drug interactions with Aciloc Tablet.
Your doctor may occasionally perform tests to make sure Aciloc Tablet is working and to manage side effects. Visit your doctor routinely for a check-up. Avoid smoking during the management with Aciloc Tablet, as it may delay healing or worsen the ulcers. Before taking ACILOC 150MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have stomach cancer, kidney, lung or immunity problems, porphyria (rare blood disorder) or diabetes.
Consult your doctor before taking Aciloc Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Aciloc Tablet is suitable for use in adolescents aged 16 years or older. The most common side effects of Aciloc Tablet are constipation and nausea. Consult your doctor if they trouble you.
