ACBISO 5 TABLET is a prescription medication primarily used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart conditions such as angina (chest pain) and heart failure. It belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers.

ACBISO 5 TABLET can be prescribed alone or with other medications. The dose and how often you take it depend on your condition and its severity. It is best taken in the morning with or without food, but be sure to take it at the same time every day for the best results. It may take several weeks to feel the full effects, and you may need to take it long-term. Even if you feel fine, it is important to keep taking it, as most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick, and stopping could make your condition worse.

The most common side effects of this medicine include dizziness or lightheadedness, fatigue, bradycardia (slow heart rate), headache, nausea. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own. Please consult your doctor if these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration. To reduce the risk of side effects your doctor will probably start the medicine at a low dose and gradually increase it.

Before taking this medication, inform your doctor if you have any liver issues, low blood pressure, very slow heart rate, severe circulation problems, severe heart failure. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking it. Regular blood pressure checks are recommended to ensure the medication is effective. It is best to avoid alcohol, as it could worsen certain side effects.
